Globe Arizona Coffee Roaster Sam's Coffee Roasting Company

Story

I have been home roasting coffee for years and been in business for myself for even longer. Not unlike the commercials where the peanut butter gets into the jelly or the butter gets into the lobster, Sam, the perpetually creative human, fell into commercial coffee roasting. Coffee roasting is a science, and an art form, and cause for some really weird dreams at night.

I roast with a 10 kilo Ambex. She is yellow. Yes, she. If I am to dance with one of the loves of my life, as coffee roasting is a mad scientist's dance, it is with my beautiful Jenny. That is her name, my Ambex 10 Kilo, Jenny. The name comes from a cross between a movie of a man with many shrimp boats also named after his love, as well as a dear friend. I think I will name all of my roasters (if I am so lucky to have more than one) Jenny.

Label

My label is a picture of my brother Andy's self built, custom trailer, mobile restaurant located on hwy 95, south of Bullhead City, AZ. Andy is currently open Saturdays and Sundays. His feature is smoked meats. So if you are in the area, you owe it to yourself to stop, visit, and eat some of the best slow roasted ribs, chicken, or brisket there is. Depending, of course, on what the slow roast of the day is.
